Marc Le Bozec

Cellectis bioresearch CEO
Marc joined Cellectis in October 2006 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and also became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cellectis bioresearch at its inception in 2008. Prior to Cellectis Marc has more than twelve years experience of the biotechnology business sector having served as Chief Operating Officer for Alfact Innovation (France), Biotech Consultant at Arthur D. Little (Paris office) and founder, Chairman and CEO of BioProtein Technologies (France), a biotech company dedicated to the production of recombinant proteins in the milk of transgenic animals. Marc is a graduate of HEC School of Management, Paris.
Luc Selig, Ph.D.
Cellectis bioresearch VP Sales and Marketing
Luc joined Cellectis bioresearch in January 2009 bringing more than ten years of experience in R&D and Business Development. Luc holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the René Descartes University of Paris, an MSc in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is a former agricultural engineer from ENSAIA of Nancy. After co-founding Hybrigenics in 1998, Luc held several positions in R&D and Business Development, where he was responsible for developing and licensing novel drug discovery technologies and the successful launch of a fee-for-service business unit in 2003. Prior to joining Cellectis bioresearch, Luc was in charge of Sales & Marketing at Hybrigenics Services, positioning the company as the leading provider of complete solutions for protein interaction studies.
Christophe Delenda, Ph.D.
Cellectis bioresearch CSO
Christophe joined Cellectis bioresearch in June 2008 as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). Prior to Cellectis bioresearch Christophe has more than twelve years experience in commercial biotechnology having served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Theravectys (innovative vaccine development) and Laboratory Head at Transgene and Genethon (gene therapy R&D).
Christophe was awarded a PhD in Virology by the Institut Pasteur, Paris in 1994.
Jean-Pierre Cabaniols, Ph.D.
Cellectis bioresearch COO
Jean-Pierre has been with Cellectis since 2000, initially joining as a project leader. In October 2008 he moved to Cellectis bioresearch as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to Cellectis Jean-Pierre held a five year post-doctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute of the NIH. During the eight years in Cellectis R&D he studied the mechanisms involved in meganuclease-mediated homologous recombination, developing and optimising the cGPS system. Jean-Pierre’s PhD in Immunology was awarded in 1994 by the Institut Pasteur, Paris.
