A highly transciptionaly active genomic site of a CHO-S cell line that can be grown in suspension can be reproducibly targeted with your transgene expression cassette. An expressing population can be selected in as little as 2 weeks, and the selected clones display 95%+ of hotspot targeting! After selection, the selection agents can be dropped to still obtain highly stable protein production.
