TALE Nucleases are the most advanced sequence-specific nucleases created by the fusion of transcription activator-like effectors (TALEs) to the catalytic domain of an endonuclease that introduces DNA double-strand breaks.
 
The very high modularity of TALEN™ engineering guarantees that there is always a TALEN™ for any gene modification or gene knock-out you want to achieve, in any gene, at any position, in any genome.
 
TALEN™ First™ includes synthesis of a Custom TALEN™ in an expression vector,  its validation by cleaving its target sequence in an episomal context (as for all Custom TALENs™), and additionally its validation in chromosomal context in a cell line (human, rat, mouse and hamster).
