Our cell engineering techniques involve two types of sequence-specific nucleases:
TALEN™ and Meganucleases.

Meganucleases have long recognition sites which makes them unique and highly specific nucleases.

TALEN™ are able to recognize and bind to any gene and introduce a double-strand break (DSB) at any position, in any genome.

By harnessing the cells natural repair processes of either homologous recombination or non-homologous end joining, those tools provide the investigator with the ability to trigger three unique outcomes in genome customization: gene knock-out, targeted transgene integration and gene modification.
